Ok serious rant, please reblog and spread the word because this needs to get out.
I legitimately told my therapist that I am going to kill myself and have been doing all the research.
She called every hospital that takes my (very good) insurance and not a single one has a bed for me and some even have 4 WEEK WAITLISTS.
4 WEEKS
How many people will die during this period who literally are denied the help they deserve?????
How many more suicides will we have simply because there isn’t even room for someone?
WE NEED CHANGE
Stop with the thoughts and prayers, stop with the “this could have been prevented, they were loved by so many people”
NO
CHANGE IS NEEDED NOW
Call your local senator and ask about mental health and how things can be changed so more hospital beds can be added
Call for those who didn’t make it and those who won’t make it in the future
